Nusa Penida Island is located only an hour away from Bali with several boat companies operating this route. Gili Getaway offer a fast boat service from Serangan Harbour Bali to Nusa Penida (this service is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from April 2024 to September 2024, it will available everyday but Sundays).
Blue Water Express offer a daily service from Serangan to Nusa Penida (This boat does not operate from 12 November 2023 to 31 March 2024). Eka Jaya offer a daily departure from Padang Bai to Nusa Penida and a daily departure from Serangan to Nusa Penida.

How to get to Nusa Penida Island

Getting to Nusa Penida from Bali is a quick boat ride away and hotel transfers from the most popular tourist areas on Bali are often included in the ticket price.

If you're staying in South Bali a fast boat from Sanur, Benoa or Serangan is your best option. Transfers from your hotel in South Bali can be added (drop-off on Nusa Penida Island is not included). If you're staying around Ubud or Candidasa it is better to depart from Padang Bai to Nusa Penida with Eka Jaya.

Nusa Penida is an island just South of Bali located right next to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. It is quite a large island with plenty of sights to see and things to do.
