Group Lesson 
1 session of 2 hours, with a group. There is at least 1 instructor for every 2 guests.

Private Lesson (90 min) - Kite Surfing Level 1 Kite Control 
Learn how to control your kite on the land. Our teachers will teach you how to use the equipment, how to stay safe in the water and the fundamental theory of wind patterns and windows. You will start from strapping yourself to the seat harness and with a 2 line trainer kite before moving into a 4 line kite. 

Private Lesson (90 min) - Kite Surfing Level 2 Water Control 
It’s time to get wet since you’ve already learned the basic of the kite surfing. The aim is to make sure you feel comfortable in the water with your kite. Before you start, you‘ll go through the body dragging techniques and skills. Then,  you will learn to move in the water without a board. By practicing and advancing your techniques, you’ll be able to improve your movement from the right and to left. and get used to your recovery drills. Time to get on your board once you’ve completed all the little steps.

Private Lesson (90 min) - Kite surfing level 3 Freeriding 
This level is for those with pre-knowledge and feeling comfortable with a kite in the water. The course will teach you various kite surfing techniques, for example, a free ride in the open water, adjust to your own speed, edge your board, riding downwind and upwind, and make the turn correctly. Finally, you’ll get to know many valuable tricks and learn from experienced kite surfers. 

Please note: kids 13 years and older can participate in the activity only if they understand English or Indonesian and if they can swim.

General terms for operation

  • Daily (with seasonal exceptions), subject to availability.
  • The Kite Surfing lessons and courses are normally scheduled between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 
  • Air-conditioned transfers are available from Legian, Seminyak, Canggu, Kuta, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, and Sanur areas.
  • Guest services: towels, drinking water, fresh fruit, sunscreen, zinc, and first aid kit are available upon request or if necessary.
  • Facilities: changing rooms, student lockers, showering, Rip Curl merchandising, garden bars and parking.
  • Staff will receive your booking and reconfirm within 24hrs.

Cancellations and changes to your booking

  • Cancellations with 3 days notice or more will receive a full refund, minus any charges applied to make the refund (see the general Terms and Conditions for cancellation charges).
     
  • Cancellations between 48 hours and 24 hours notice will receive a 50% refund, minus any charges applied to make the refund (see the general Terms and Conditions for cancellation charges).
     
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable.
     
  • No Shows are non-refundable.

Rip Curl School of Surf will provide medical care and will cover related expenses due to injuries and/or accidents that occurred during the transportation to and from the Rip Curl School of Surf and during the Activities, to the total amounts of:
  • Permanent Disablement Max. : IDR. 1,500.000.000
  • Medical Expenses Max. : IDR. 150.000.000
  • Ambulance Expenses Max. : IDR 2.000.000
The medical insurance does not cover students’ accident claims and related medical expenses outside of Indonesia.
 
Guests covered by personal travel or medical insurance are provided provisional bridging insurance via Rip Curl School of Surf insurance policy to ensure immediate medical services are provided while the Rip Curl School of Surf medical treatment provider communicates and confirms the guest’s personal travel or medical insurance policy details.
Guests are required to fill out the personal travel and medical insurance form prior to the commencement of their program to enable the administration and medical treatment provider to assist with any necessary claims.
